No Man’s Sky 1.55 Patch Notes – What’s in the latest Update?

Hello Games have again been busy this past week having rolled out another No Man’s Sky patch.  In a listing on their official website, the team confirm the 1.55 update is available from 10th August across the PC, PS4 and Xbox variants.

“After the initial round of addressing high priority stability and performance issues, the team have been working intensely on a large number of gameplay fixes and improvements.”  The post goes on to say “as always, thank you for playing the game and taking the time to report any issues you encounter!”

As far as we can tell the key fixes and updates in this patch address UI memory leaks, game crashes caused by interactions with the local foliage and spacecraft.  The patch also mentions fixes to play sessions where players would get stuck in The Purge and Ghost in the Machine missions.  Other updates include tweaks to a number of audio and visual items and other general enhancements to the gameplay.

You can see the full patch notes on the official website where the developers are keen for players to report any issues with playing the game by sending in a bug report.
