Cuphead goes Triple Platinum

With the Cuphead DLC launch date expected next year, here’s some awesome news about this hard as nails run and gun offering with its handprinted animation style with a foot within the 1930’s did well with critics and fans alike.  Hey, while we were somewhat critical of how it went about its difficulty mechanic, it won a position in our 2017 Indie Game of the Year countdown.

Nearly eight months later, Studio MDHR announced earlier in the week the game has gone triple platinum meaning Cuphead has sold more three million units. To celebrate this achievement Studio MDHR has put the game on sale across both Xbox and Steam so if you’ve not picked this up until now, you can do so on the cheap!

There’s still plenty more to come from Cuphead with a new DLC The Delicious Last Course scheduled to launch at some point in 2019. In this all new content, Cuphead and Mugman are to be joined by Ms. Chalice alongside a new map, weapons, charms and boss battles. The DLC will be coming to both PC and Xbox versions so fans of the game have much to look forward to.
